If you thought the BMW M2 was already one of the most intense vehicles on the road, then you are in for a surprise. BMW recently announced that they will be putting out a fiercer, stronger variant of the BMW M2, to be called the BMW M2 CSL. Rumor has it that the new model will increase in 50 horsepower from the basic M2, which already gets 350 hp.
The BMW M2 CSL will reportedly be a two-door coupe, available in rear-wheel drive only, but likely available with a dual-clutch transmission. It’s estimated that lap times will double for the newer model.
As for its acceleration, the regular BMW M2 can already go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds, so it’s safe to assume that the M2 CSL will shave even more time off that.
