Hell, I have an 86 325 Super ETA and have had it just over a year I have a feeling I wont want or need any other car for some time. BMW dfteniiely knows how to make a driving machine. Suspension/chassis still feels like it just rolled off the line in 86. Slight valve noise, but thats all.One thing i’m worried about newer models, is all the electronic stuff. I don’t want a car that drives itself. I can see people becoming complacent on the road already. Safety can Kill

Don’t really like the Volvo. They are in diff caitgorees Volvo compete with Acura, BMW with Porsche and Mercedes. Cause IMHO it’s senseless to compare the BMW base to the Volvo fully loaded. For a fair comparison it should be the 4.4 BMW vs the fully loaded xc90. But then the BMW would be a lot more expensive and so a senseful comparison should be bwtween the Benz and BMW.

What all others didnt keep in mind was that this bupemr to bupemr free maintence for the first 4 years/ 50K miles only applys to vehicles that are PURCHASED from BMW or when still under the 50,000 mile warranty regardless of being new or used. Did anyone take into consideration that he might be leasing the car??? If this be the case, the normal maintence cost for a 2010 BMW 3 series sedan and coupe will range from $ 120-$ 170 for just the oil change and all the other routine tune ups. I usually pay $ 140 for every 5K miles at BMW but i decided to go to an auto shop called B-Bimmers which only work on BMW’s and they charge me $ 100 for BMW’s orginal 15K mile synthetic oil change. I only go there for oil changes other then that its directly to the BMW dealer. Leasing or buying a BMW is a great experience as long as you have the greens in your pocket in order to maintain it.
