BMW has reclaimed the top spot as the world’s most valuable car brand in the annual BrandZ Top 100 global survey. BMW reclaimed the top spot after its value raised nearly 10% over the past 12 months, after losing the title last year to Toyota.
Many researchers believe that the luxury brand’s success has come from strong demand in China and other markets. BMW could see its value increase even more in the coming year, as several new vehicles will be released worldwide, along with new vehicles coming to the United States.
Such vehicles that will be released in the coming year include the i8 and the X1, which will come to America to the first time later this year. The popularity of the M performance line of BMW vehicles as also increased over the past several years.
