This weekend at the BMW Championship PGA golf tournament at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, Rory McIlroy finished 20 shots under par to win the event. With this win, McIlroy became the first player since Tiger Woods in 2009 to win in consecutive weeks on the PGA Tour. Woods came up short, finishing three shots back to tie for fourth place.
All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation. Since 2007, the BMW Champtionship has raised more than $11 million for the Evans Scholars Foundation, the nation’s largest privately funded, full-tuition college scholarship program.
