As gas prices continue to rise, the production of eco-friendly, gas-saving vehicles is also increasing more quickly than ever before. With the average gas price well over $4.00 in recent weeks, the thought of owning an electric vehicle is more appealing. For BMW lovers, you are in luck. This electrically-charged car takes about six hours to charge and will save you thousands on gas per year. Other than being green by saving money on gas, the car is also produced with various sustainable materials. For example, the interior includes the use of a eucalyptus dashboard taken from a sustainable source n Europe, along with the use of natural fibers like wood and a leather tanning agent extract from olive leaves.

Although electric and hybrid vehicles sometimes get a bad rap for their performance, the i3 Concept electrical vehicle breaks this barrier. The i3 Concept packs 125kW/170bhp and can accelerate from 0-100 in an impressive 8 seconds.

If you are in the market for a high-performing, stylish electric car, keep your eye out for the BMW i3 Concept electrical car.
