If you missed your chance to get a Frozen edition BMW M3 in 2011, you will be getting another chance. BMW is once again releasing a Frozen edition of the M3. This time it will be available in three colors: red, white, or blue. BMW also only plans to build 150 models.
The M3 gets it ‘frozen’ status from the special matte paint BMW uses that gives it the look of ice. This special paint, however, does come with some stipulations. It can only be hand washed and all debris, like bird droppings and sap, must be cleaned immediately or the finish will be permanently damaged. All of the Frozen edition M3s come with the Competition Package, which includes 19-inch light alloy wheels in matte black, 10-millimeter lower suspension, electronic damper control, and high-performance tuning for the suspension and stability control settings.
In 2011, the Frozen M3 sold out in minutes, so act quickly if you want to get your hands on one.
