Perillo BMW recently took part in an event that highlighted the collaboration between BMW and Louis Vuitton. The event was held on Thursday, October 9th at the Louis Vuitton store located at 919 Michigan Ave. in the heart of downtown Chicago. There was a black BMW i8 that was lit up with cobalt blue lighting, sitting at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Walton St. for people to view as they walked by. With a non-stop crowd surrounding the car, I think it’s safe to assume it was a hit!
Inside the store was a little more exclusive. With 150 guests in attendance, the store showcased the Men’s Fall/Winter Fashion collection as well as the four Louis Vuitton luggage bags that were designed specifically so that they would fit perfectly in the i8.
The evening started out with hors d’oeuvres, champagne, cognac tasting and cigar rolling followed by Daniel Paltridge, Senior Vice President at Louis Vuitton, and Peter Miles, Vice President of Sales Channels and Customer Relations from BMW, giving opening introductions. The event benefitted a wonderful non-profit organization, Marwen, that educates and inspires under-served young adults from grades 6-12 though the use of visual arts.
Perillo BMW could not have been more please with the outcome of the event and to have raised money for such a great organization!
