new BMW M6 GT3BMW has rolled out the M6 GT3 that will represent the brand in future endurance and GT racing events.

The German automaker is no stranger to motorsports: it currently competes in DTM, BMW Sports Trophy, various GT3 competitions around the world, and was formerly a player in Formula One and Formula BMW.

The new BMW M6 GT3 will be replacing the Z4 GT3 car that has been racing in national and international series as well as iconic endurance races. It sports a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 500 horsepower—that’s actually less than the production M6 we’ve got at Perillo BMW, but just enough to stay within the confines of the FIA’s regulations.

Speaking of motorsports and BMW’s production vehicles: BMW Blog reports the automaker might bring the M235i Racing to North America. It’s an entry-level model in the BMW Motorsports range and sells in Europe for about $68,000. Things are looking bright for BMW fans!
